While the trend of gold and brass shows no sign of waning, I wanted to spotlight a less-ubiquitous trend (and one of my personal favorites): Copper & Rose Gold.

You've probably seen it mostly on watches or jewelry pieces, but this color has been gaining traction in home decor.

This color is naturally suited for the kitchen space, where it may already exist via copper cookware pieces. And I think it works just beautifully against white cabinetry. And, if you're a bit more adventurous, it's a great opportunity to mix metals.

Here are just a few of my design picks (I could go on and on!). A few would make great presents (nope, I would not mind a trash can as a holiday gift if it looks like this one!). And what chef in your life wouldn't be excited to receive a copper saucepan?
